4. Enter name, email id & phone number


5. Add PAN & Aadhar details. Provide consent to authenticate via aadhar and agree to terms & conditions


6. Enter OTP sent to mobile number linked with Aadhar


7. Enter personal details like occupation, source of income, yearly income, marital status etc. and click on 'Next

'8. Confirm communication address fetched from Aadhar card. You can fill a new address for full KYC OR select the same address as communication address

9. In case address is not serviceable, add a new address for communications


10. Add nominee (optional step). We recommend customers to add a nominee to their account


11. Read & confirm all self declarations


12. Setup 6 digit MPIN


13. Virtual debit card gets generated (note that process is not completed yet). Some customers might get option to get a credit card against a fixed deposit, click on 'Skip' or 'Claim card'


14. Click on 'Complete Full KYC'


15. Upload PAN card copy, selfie and signature photo. Accept terms and conditions


16. Allow location access

4. If there is no Kotak branch within 12 kms of your current residential location then Kotak Lite account would be opened (no commissions for opening Kotak Lite account)

6. The customer must register with the mobile number linked to his Aadhaar card.


7. Payout on a weekly basis, case wise decisions would not be shared by the bank.


8. You are not allowed to charge anything from the customer. If found guilty, your account will get blocked and earnings will get frozen. GroMo might also apply a fine for any such instances.

The Following Guidelines need to be kept in mind at all times while opening Kotak 811 account-


1. Only those accounts will be considered for this which have a Kotak bank branch in the range of 12 Km. of the pin code they enter. Otherwise, the account that will be opened will be Kotak Lite Account and no payout will be given for that.


2. A call will be done to the customer by Kotak's team to confirm the details. Please make sure the customer picks up the call and verifies the details mentioned during opening of the account. This can be a random number since the team is working from home


3. The number used to register account should be the one linked with Aadhaar otherwise payout will not be given


4. Name entered will be as per the name mentioned on Aadhaar Card otherwise payout will not be given


5. Customer will get an option to choose KYC through online/offline method

7. Check if the customer's residential address pincode is serviceable before opening the Account. However, due to certain reasons, Kotak can also deny the customer within serviceable pincode basis their internal policies.


8. If the customer does not use your personalized link and goes directly to the Kotak website no payout will be given.


9. The entire account opening process should be completed in one go.
